Sunset Cruises is owned and operated by Captain R.S. Potts who was born and raised in Muskoka and has been a licensed captain for over 20 years and "on the water" for more than forty. Sunset Cruises offers an alternative to larger Ontario tour ships, and its passengers can comfortably enjoy cruising aboard the Peerless II or Idyllwood. Sunset Cruises showcases Muskoka scenery, much of it accessible only to our smaller ships. The Idyllwood is a faithful restoration / reproduction of a 1920’s-era private yacht, measuring 40 feet in length and fitted out with attention to detail. Wicker chairs complement mahogany and cherry wood panels. Oak trim and chrome fittings add to the authenticity and decor of this private yacht. Quiet and stable, it accommodates up to12 guests in total comfort and luxury. Fitted with a small galley and head, as well as curtains to shade the sun or keep out the rain, the Idyllwood has been meticulously restored and offers Muskoka Lakes cruising with style and elegance. |
